The Role:
We’re looking for someone to take ownership of how we build and grow strategic partnerships at big xyt. This is a key role — you’ll be instrumental in expanding our ecosystem, strengthening our product offerings, and helping more firms discover the value of our innovative solutions. You’ll work closely with teams across the business and with external partners to shape how we grow.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Setting the Strategy: Develop a clear plan for identifying and securing partnerships that align with our commercial priorities and future product roadmap.
- Finding and Building Partnerships: Proactively identify and approach potential partners — from technology providers and consultants to OMS/EMS platforms and emerging fintechs — and bring them into the big xyt network.
- Nurturing Relationships: Build strong, long-term relationships with partners, ensuring ongoing collaboration and mutual growth.
- Negotiating Deals: Lead negotiations and manage the legal and commercial side of partnership agreements, always aiming for outcomes that benefit both parties.
- Collaborating Across Teams: Work hand-in-hand with our Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to bring partnerships to life through joint solutions, integrations, and marketing initiatives.
- Tracking Progress: Keep a close eye on partnership performance metrics — revenue impact, product uptake, client feedback — and adjust your approach where needed.
- Staying Ahead of the Curve: Keep up with market trends in trading, fintech, and market structure, using what you learn to spot new opportunities and sharpen our strategy.
- Acting as an Ambassador: Represent big xyt at key industry events and meetings, building our brand and identifying new opportunities to grow.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience in partnership development, business development, or strategic alliances — ideally within fintech, capital markets technology, or financial services.
- A good grasp of trading workflows and an understanding of how data and analytics power trading and investment decisions.
- A proven track record of successfully negotiating commercial deals and driving partnerships from idea to execution.
- Excellent relationship management skills — you know how to work with a range of stakeholders, internally and externally.
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable translating data and feedback into clear, actionable insights.
- A collaborative, hands-on approach — happy working across teams in a fast-moving, scaling company.
- Someone who is customer-centric and willing to travel to different locations globally to visit clients
