Dirk has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. Before co-founding big xyt he held several responsible positions in the Risk Management, Finance and Treasury Departments of major commercial and investment banks.

His experience covers management of interest income from commercial banking, management of market risk from trading and market-making positions, regulatory and financial reporting under German GAAP and IFRS, as well as the management of liquidity supply and capital structure of Tier 1 banks.

Dirk holds a degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland (UNISG).
